Supernatural Intervention
The teaching series continues in Exodus 17 as the children of Israel are engaged in battle with the Amalekites. From this passage we learn the importance of why we must defeat a sabotage to our destiny. We also see the importance of prevailing prayer and support from others when we are vulnerable. The revelation of God’s name Jehovah Nissi is also studied. We discover Jesus Christ as our Jehovah Nissi.

Is the Lord Among Us or Not?

When we face seasons of life that feel as though we are walking in desert places we all tend to ask the question, “Is the Lord among us, or not?” The people of Israel asked the same question when faced with the dilemma of not having water. Would they depend on the Lord to continue to provide for them as He always had? What do we do when we are thirsty, physically and spiritually? Where do we turn?
