Book of Acts – Sunday Morning 7/14/19

We are continuing our journey through the Book of Acts. Last week, we left Peter preaching a powerful sermon to the multitude who had gathered at the sound of the Holy Spirit outpouring. As Holy Spirit was poured out, the 120 began to speak in languages they had not learned. They were not speaking gibberish but distinct languages that were recognizable by those in the multitude. Peter and the 11 stood up and began to preach. The response to Peter’s sermon was immediate. The people were convicted in their hearts. “What must we do?” Peter had the answer. Repent!
