When I See the Blood, April 5, 2020

The Hebrew people served in Egypt as slaves for more than 400 years.  At the appointed time, God began the process of delivering them and establishing them as the nation of Israel.  God called Moses to step into his destiny as Leader, Prophet, and Deliverer.  Nine times Moses appeared before Pharaoh to ask for the release of God’s people.  Nine times Pharaoh denied this request.  Each denial was met with horrific consequences of plagues and catastrophic destruction.  But, Pharaoh’s heart was filled with stubbornness.  One last act of God would come upon Pharaoh and his people.  With this judgment, Egypt would be brought to it’s knees and the children of Israel would go free.  It was the Passover.  The sacrifice of the lamb.  The blood applied to shield and protect.
