What Just Happened?, April 19, 2020

Jesus became our Passover Lamb by fulfilling all the requirements of the Law and all the prophecies which were spoken about Him.  He came to earth and lived a sinless life, perfect from any defects.  His agony and suffering on the cross gave way to glorious triumph when the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead garden tomb.  Sorrow and mourning turned to great joy as death had to yield to the greater power of Life.  In the 40 days following the resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples many time.  As the scripture in Luke 24 records, He was helping them put all the pieces together.  They were faced with the reality that they had been so wrong about God’s plan.  In their minds, they were struggling to figure out what just happened?
