The Gifts of Christmas – Sunday December 9, 2018

The prophet Isaiah penned the words, “to us a child is born, to us a son is given.” Webster defines the word gift as something transferred from one person to another without payment or compensation. John 3:16 states that “God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son.” God so loved so He gave. The by product or the natural outflow of love is giving. God gave because He loved. Without payment or compensation from us, a gift was given to us. It was the Gift of a Redeemer, a Saviour. The Gift of a Divine Person.
