The Awakening of Abraham, Part 2, November 29, 2020

For the third time in Abraham’s life, God is presenting Abraham with an extreme test of faith.  Each test seems to be more challenging that the last.  Now, the ultimate test, God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac.  God is determining Abraham’s highest love and Abraham’s complete trust in God.  Does Abraham’s highest love rest in God or in the son of his old age, Isaac.  Does Abraham’s trust rest in the God of the covenant promise, or the promise itself?
