The Acts Journey – Chapter 8, October 20, 2019
As we continue Luke’s narrative of the Book of Acts, we follow Philip as he continues to evangelize for the cause of Jesus Christ. He is enjoying a successful crusade in Samaria. The gospel is powerfully changing the lives of people through salvation, healing and deliverance ministry. A church is being established and another layer of the prophecy of Acts 1:8 is being fulfilled. It is now time for “the ends of the earth.” Philip is being directed to a divine intersection. The eyes of God have seen a questioning heart in an isolated place. It is a solitary man with a blazing hunger for God. An Ethiopian eunuch on the backside of the desert has caught the eye of the Father. God re-directs his evangelist away from the many to minister to the one. The Ethiopian was searching for truth and the Father of All made sure He found Him.
