Finding Your Footing in God’s Word, July 8, 2018

We most hear and receive God’s word eagerly. We must depend on Holy Spirit to help us understand it. We must praise and honor God’s word. We must love it and let it be our joy and strength. We must trust it and let  it go deep into our heart. We must trust it and put our hope in its promises. Above all, we must  apply it directly to our daily lives. That means we obey what it commands and live by its principles, instructions, and guidelines. And, as followers of Jesus we must proclaim it to spread the message of hope, forgiveness, and new life wherever we go.
