Matthew 5:6
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”
Many believe these words of Jesus to be some of the most important words spoken from the Sermon on the Mount. I agree! Why is it so important to have spiritual hunger? Simply put, if you’re not hungry you won’t eat. If you’re not thirsty, you wont drink. If you don’t eat, you will not grow and spiritual death will eventually overtake you.
